Portfolio of Level Design

Background
My background in creative endeavors begins at a young age, primarily with drawing. Throughout elementary and high school I took art classes to expand my knowledge. From there I did a four year tour with the US Navy, which put my educational activities off to the side. Although, after those four years I enrolled with the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, their Online Division, to take courses in Game Art & Design.
I have since graduated in March of 2010 with a Bachelors of Science in Game Art & Design. The courses covered many different aspects of and team member positions from management practices to the various hands on tasks that may be required to follow a project from concept to release, and even it's post release life.
I currently plan pursue a career in the video game industry as a Level Designer/Builder. This is where I believe I have the most experience, and also I get the most enjoyment from that area. Level Design is much more than just putting a level together in a program. It takes together all of the traits of game design with their various stages all while providing a fun and cohesive level for the player.
